MEET THE SPEAKERS

Aaron Foy

Mitigation Manager and Estimator

Aaron Foy has dedicated 18 years to the restoration industry, beginning his career as a Mitigation Technician with National Flood and Fire. Over the past 12 years, he has excelled as the Mitigation Manager, effectively overseeing teams of up to 50 individuals on extensive commercial projects and single-person crews on residential jobs.

Aaron has been responsible for writing mitigation estimates for the last five years and holds certifications on Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), Mold Remediation (MLD), and Asbestos Testing (ASB).


John Guerra

Director of Reconstruction Operations

John Guerra boasts over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, starting his career in 1989 as a licensed general contractor in San Diego, California. His expertise spans restoration work for floods and fires, custom home builds, finish carpentry, project management, and estimating insurance losses and remodels.

As the founder of Konstrukt Design & Remodel, John played a critical role in aiding fire departments, homeowners, and insurance companies during the Witch Creek, Cedar, and Harmony Groves fires, which collectively destroyed over 3,400 homes.

After managing his company for over three decades, he transitioned to key roles at Complete Construction and National Flood and Fire Network. John’s certifications include Advanced Certified Green Building Professional (ACGBP), LEED Green Associate, and Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), underscoring his dedication to sustainable and inclusive building practices.


Jeff Leavitt

Reconstruction Estimator

Jeff brings over 30 years of experience as a building contractor specializing in restoration for both residential and commercial properties post-disaster. As a property claims adjuster, he has handled large loss situations, demonstrating exceptional communication skills. His extensive background in insurance claims complements his ability to estimate jobs ranging from small residential projects to large commercial undertakings.

Jeff’s professional accomplishments include being a Certified Graduate Remodeler (NAHB), serving as President of the local HBA, and acting as Remodelers Council Chairman. His expertise in Xactimate estimating since 1984 and certification as an American Family Insurance Adjuster highlight his technical proficiency.
